Especially includes smooth jaws with blunt tip which help to slide through the vagina. The smooth outer curves of the instrument also prevent damage to surrounding tissues.
In addition, the speculum includes a long handle. This gives better control of the instrument.
Has a smooth design and light weight which adds to the comfort of the surgeon. Moreover, the Auvard Vaginal Speculum comes with a detachable weight. This gives the instrument its self-retaining property allowing the surgeon to use both hands during procedures.
