SURTEX® Derf Needle Holders have several features to facilitate easy suturing of surgical wounds.
Firstly, the finger ring handles have a ratchet clamp to allow self-retaining holds on the needles.
In addition, the shafts are straight for a direct view of the working jaws.
Thirdly, the jaws are available with both stainless steel and tungsten carbide inserts for your convenience. They have inner cross-serrations to enable firm grasps on a wide variety of needles.
