Description

The Deschamps Ligature Needle offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to compress aneurysm or blood vessels in hard-to-reach sites and place ligatures around them.

For this purpose, the instrument features a small tip that bends laterally at right or left to suit the surgeon’s needs. In addition, the tip describes a semicircle for enclosing the desired vessel or aneurysm before placing the ligature. Also, the serrated profile helps to minimize local damage to arteries, veins and other nearby structures.

Moreover, the Deschamps Ligature Needle features a long, straight shaft that enhances surgical reach. Additionally, the needle has an ergonomically designed hollow handle that reduces slippage and finger strain.
