Especially includes 2 by 3 teeth at the tip with serrations along the jaw which help to improve grip on tissues. The narrow profile of the tip also increases precision of dissection.
In addition, the operating forceps includes broad thumb grips which also have fine serrations. This works as an anti slip mechanism which give optimum control of instrument.
Has a smooth design and light weight which adds to the comfort of the surgeon. Moreover, the spring handle of the Ferris-Smith Dissecting Forceps allows rapid manipulation during surgery.
In addition, the narrow jaws of the instrument allows it to access deep tissues with ease.
