The Nugent Utility Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to manipulate a variety of tissues to expose deep cavities and enhance the view of the surgical field.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of narrow, angled jaws that easily pass into small areas. In addition, the inner surfaces of the tips have serrated or a smooth-surfaced profile that surgeons choose according to their preferences.
Moreover, the Nugent Utility Forcep features a spring handle with outer ridges for enhanced gripping. Also, the handle permits to close the tips against each other with controlled pressure. As a result, the operator prevents clamping trauma.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
