The Olivecrona Brain Spatula offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic method for manipulating the brain tissue.
For this purpose, the instrument features a double-ended design that permits carrying out different techniques. In addition, the ends have concave or convex scoop-shaped depressions that surgeons can pick according to the surgical scenario.
