The Peet Splinter Forcep offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to extract deeply located foreign objects from the surgical field.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of tapered, curved jaws that easily traverse small areas. Also, the inner surfaces of the jaws have transverse serrations that ensure a firm grip onto the clamped material.
Moreover, the Peet Splinter Forcep features a ratchet system for self-retaining the jaws at different levels of pressure. In addition, the device has a boxlock system for performing smooth closing and opening movements.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
