The Phaneuf Hysterectomy Forceps offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to hold heavy tissues to permit the dissection of the uterus from its adnexa.
For this purpose, the instrument features straight jaws that enhance surgical sightlines. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have inner serrations and toothed tips for a stronger gripping. A curved pattern is also available to suit difficult surgical approaches.
Moreover, the Phaneuf Hysterectomy Forceps features elongated, straight shafts for deep surgical reach. Also, the ratchet system between the jaws ensures self-retaining clamping, which allows surgeons to manipulate other devices.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
