The Semb Bone Cutting Forceps offers a wide variety of surgical advantages during orthopaedic procedures. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to cut cortical and cancellous bone.
For this purpose, the instrument features sharp-edged blades with a 90° angle for reaching a variety of surgical sites. In addition, the outer surface of the jaws has a blunt profile for easily sliding through tissues without trauma.
Moreover, the Semb Bone Cutting Forceps features a compound action joint that ensures smooth cutting motion. Also, the spring mechanism between the handles improves the movement and permits efficient cutting at minimal effort.
