The Bishop-Harmon Iris Forcep offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to hold different types of fragile tissues, dressings and sutures during ophthalmic surgery, such as iridectomy.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of very fine, straight jaws that are ideal to reach deep surgical targets. In addition, the working end size is available in 0.4 and 0.12mm lengths to suit a variety of eyeball anatomies. Furthermore, the 1 x 2 teeth profile ensures a steady grip onto the held tissues.
Moreover, the Bishop-Harmon Iris Forcep features a spring handle with fenestrations that provide support to the fingers. As a result, surgeons can perform the clamping motion with comfort and avoid the risk of accidental slippage.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
