The Brand Tendon Tunnelling Forcep offers multiple surgical advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages are especially useful to perform patellar tendon repairing and to harvest tendinous tissue.
For example, the instrument comes with alligator type jaws with interlocking teeth. Moreover, the jaw’s teeth and the alligator action ensure static tendon retractions. As a result, surgeons can hold the tendons in place prior to their further withdrawal or harvesting.
In addition, the device features a rivet joint that connects the shafts and permits the alligator design Also, the shaft end in finger rings that prevent finger strain and fatigue.
