The DeBakey Suction Tube features a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to clear the operating site by suctioning debris, foreign bodies, blood and other fluids.
For this purpose, the instrument features a curved tube that enhances the reach into deep cavities. In addition, the tube has a terminal suction tip with front and lateral ports ensuring multi-directional aspiration. The 9.0mm working end diameter is ideal to traverse narrow passages.
Moreover, the DeBakey Suction Tube features a hollow handle with vertical grooves that prevent slippage. Also, the bottom of the handle has a connecting olive to attach the device to a suction system.
