The Leksell-Stille Bone Rongeur offers multiple surgical benefits for surgeons in several areas. These benefits come in handy to perform procedures that require bone cutting or reshaping.
For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of solid jaws with sharp-edged, scoop-shaped opposing surfaces. Moreover, the jaws are available in two sizes, including 4.0 and 8.0mm. As a result, surgeons can carefully scoop out bone fragments from the most delicate bones if required.
In addition, the device features a plier style grip handle and a compound action joint. Also, the handle comes with a double spring mechanism that provides a smooth biting action.
