The Meeker Dissecting and Ligature Forceps offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to allow for exceptional haemostasis during vascular surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features 90° angled jaws with a tapered design to traverse narrow spaces. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have delicate serrations for maximum fixation and reduced trauma.
Moreover, the Meeker Dissecting and Ligature Forceps features a boxlock joint that attaches the shafts. As a result, surgeons can face the jaws against each other with smooth movements. A ratchet system between the shafts ensures self-retaining clamping at different pressure degrees.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
