The Pierse-Colibri Corneal Forcep offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to hold the cornea during procedures that require access to the anterior chamber.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of very fine, curved jaws that conform to the anatomy of the eyeball. In addition, the jaws have tying platforms for facilitating stitching. Also, the 1 x 1 concave tooth design permits to hold and mobilize the scleral edge with ease.
Moreover, the Pierse-Colibri Corneal Forcep features an ergonomically designed spring handle. The handle includes oval fenestrations at each side that prevent accidental slippage and finger strain.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
