SURTEX® T-Handle Longitudinally Bored Hand Drills assist doctors to perform bone surgeries. Surgeons use them to place wires into bones when they need to treat and repair fractures. In addition, they help drive external fixation pins to attach pieces of bones together.
In these procedures, surgeons grasp the handle to rotate the blade on the bony surfaces. This rotation pushes the chuck and its attachment downwards. Therefore, we designed the handle with a T-like frame to enhance your grip and dexterity. Moreover, it has a straight profile to increase your comfort and prevent hand slips.
We made the chuck in order to allow easy attachment of K-wires and drill bits. In addition, a chuck keyhole is available so that you can fix the wire or drill bit in place securely. This prevents accidental slips and slides in critical surgeries.
The SURTEX® T-Handle Longitudinally Bored Hand Drill has a long and slender shaft so you can see the working tip clearly. In addition, we designed other drills for your convenience, like the standard T-Handle Hand Drill. You can use these tools to customize your approach for every patient.
SURTEX® Instruments manufacture these devices from premium grade stainless steel that you can depend on for years of efficient service.
