The Bainbridge Artery Forcep offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to control haemostasis during surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of tapered jaws with longitudinal serrations that help to minimize endothelial injury. In addition, the elongated design of the jaws allows for reaching deep surgical sites.
Moreover, the Bainbridge Artery Forcep features a ratchet system that permits to control the clamping pressure. Also, the device’s boxlock joint is ideal to close the tips against each other with smooth motion.
