The Bonaccolto Conjunctival Forcep offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to atraumatically hold and retract the conjunctiva and other delicate tissues of the eye.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of narrow, straight jaws that easily traverse tight passages and small cavities. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have vertical grooves and cross serrations that provide a steady grip.
