The Mixter-O’Shaugnessy Dissecting and Ligature Forcep offers a wide range of benefits. Its principal use is to permit adequate tissue manipulation and ligature handling during surgical procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of elongated, curved jaws that help to reach a variety of surgical sites. In addition, the fully-serrated profile ensures atraumatic clamping and enhances gripping.
Moreover, the Mixter-O’Shaugnessy Dissecting and Ligature Forcep features long shafts that enhance surgical access. Also, the device has a ratchet system for self-locking the jaws, which allows for manipulating of other instruments.
