The Pennington Organ Grasping Forcep offers a wide range of benefits during general surgery. Its principal use is to grasp, retract and statically hold organs and other tissues for dissection or exploration.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of triangular, fenestrated jaws that are ideal to clamp heavy organs. In addition, the jaws have horizontal serrations on their inner surfaces to prevent local injuries.
Moreover, the Pennington Organ Grasping Forcep features straight shafts attached by a boxlock. This type of joint is exceptionally useful to close and open the jaws with smooth movements.
