SURTEX® Wire Twisting Forceps assist doctors to perform bone surgeries. Surgeons use them to loop wires around bones in order to repair fractures. The device helps attach bones together by tightening the wires. After looping the wire around the bone, surgeons grasp its free ends and twist them together. This fixes the wire into place and stabilizes the bones.
Therefore, we designed the ring handles with a long frame to enhance your control and dexterity. The ratchet assembly allows self-retaining clamps. Moreover, they have wide finger rings to prevent slips in long procedures.
Furthermore, we made the jaws with UltraGrip™ technology so their serrations can hold wires firmly during twisting movements. They have tungsten carbide inserts to withstand wear and tear 6 times longer than standard jaws.In addition, the jaws have straight and slender necks in order for you to see the working jaws clearly in narrow spaces.
The SURTEX® Wire Twisting Forceps is available with sizes of 15.5 cm and 18 cm for different patient groups. We also offer other forceps like Corwin Wire Twisting Forceps to fit a wide variety of approaches. You can use these tools to suit every operation’s needs.
SURTEX® Instruments manufacture these devices from premium grade stainless steel that you can depend on for years of efficient service.
