The Finochietto (Modif) Rib Spreader comes with long blades for deep access.
Secures and spreads adjacent ribs during thoracotomy to gain better surgical access to internal organs.
Especially includes fenestrated lateral blades that allow a secure grip on tissues. The blades have curves that contort to the rib surface for efficient retraction. The fenestrations minimize soft tissue damage.
Moreover, the smooth edges of the instrument prevent inadvertent soft tissue damage.
The retracting forceps have an ergonomic design and lightweight for comfortable handling. The lightweight is especially useful for decreasing user fatigue during long procedures.
Includes screw lock which secures the blades at the optimum retraction.
The Finochietto (Modif) Rib Spreader is available with 14 by 15 mm lateral blades that are ideal for delicate bones.
Made in premium stainless steel with satin and mirror finish. It is also available in aluminum to suit different preferences. The instrument can be sterilized and reused.
