The Tonsil Needle offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to harvest tissue from the tonsils to determine whether if it contains cancerous cells or not.
For this purpose, the instrument features a straight or curved tapered needle designed to reach the tonsils with ease. In addition, the needle has a 0.65mm diameter to aspire small portions of tissue during Fine Needle Aspiration.
Moreover, the Tonsil Needle features a bottom Luer lock connection to permit the flow of fluids. Also, the Luer hub works as a connection site between the needle and a syringe or plunger system.
