The Clip Applying Forcep offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to control haemostasis during surgical procedures that require severing blood vessels.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of small, blunt jaws that are ideal for carrying the vessel clips. In addition, the tips have a specific shape to position the clips around the vessel and tighten it to stop blood flow. Moreover, the Clip Applying Forcep features straight and bayonet-shaped handles to enhance sightlines. Also, the handle’s stems feature a ratchet system to statically lock the tips at certain widths.
