The Splinter Forcep offers a wide array of benefits during procedures that require clear sightlines. Its principal use is to delicately remove shards of materials and other foreign bodies attached to the skin or wounds.
For this purpose, the instrument features tapered jaws supplied with plain or serrated surfaces. Also, surgeons can choose between straight, curved, and angled jaws according to the surgical scenario.
Moreover, the Splinter Forcep has a spring handle equipped with horizontal ridges. As a result, the operator achieves a great spring action to close the jaws and extract foreign bodies with ease. The ridges ensure a great tactile feeling and prevent finger strain or slippage.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
