Our Allis-Adair Intestinal and Tissue Grasping Forceps comes with extra broad tips for grasping bulky tissues securely.
Grasps skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscle, tendons, fascia as well as delicate tissues including intestinal wall. In addition, it is also useful for clamping blood vessels during surgery to control bleeding.
Especially includes 10 by 11 teeth on the tips that work as an anti-slip mechanism. The teeth hook on to the tissue providing surgeon with a secure anchor to manipulate tissues. The broad base allows surgeon to take bigger bite of tissue during procedures.
The grasping forceps comes with blunt tips that prevent piercing injuries to tissues. Moreover, the narrow profile of the instrument enables access to hard to reach places.
Streamlined design and light weight ensures comfortable handling. In addition, the ergonomic finger handles provide better control of instrument.
The Allis-Adair Intestinal and Tissue Grasping Forceps comes with a ratchet lock that gives it its self-retaining property. This is of value when grasping tissues for repeated manipulation.
Made in premium grade stainless steel with satin finish to prevent glare. The instrument can be sterilized and reused.
